There are many good restuarants on South Padre

Island. My favorites are as follows

Joe's Oyster Bar (Port Isabel)

Joe's Oyster bar is the very best!!

The Grilled Shrimp and Fish are

simply the best anywhere.

This is delicious no matter which way you look at it at Joe's!
It melts in your mouth.


Pier 19 above offers great food and
a fantastic view. Quite often Dolphins show up
to entertain while dining.


Yummy's above is another good place to eat and
offered outside dining as well as inside.

Pirates Landing in Port Isabel above is another favorite place to eat.

The decor, atmosphere and food is great!!

That's why we went to South Padre Island

Kites Fly high over South Padre Island. Kite flying at it's best

South Padre Island is a fantastic place to fly kites

highlighted by the annual Kite festival sometime around the

first Saturday in February each year.

It took a while but I got it figured out.

That sure flies nice!!!

Kite flying on South Padre Island is almost perfect anytime of the year and they have great beaches and of course the flats near the convention center all provide great kite flying area's. B & S kites is well stocked for any and all items you may need in the way of kites or accessories.
