Gabriella's Italian Grill & Pizza Review

Gabriella's moved from Port Isabel, Tx. and reopened in a nice new location near

the welcome center on South Padre Island. Unfortunately "Winter Texan" Specials didn't

survive the move. They are totally non-competive and not customer service oriented.

The food is very good but overpriced.

This is the only eating establishment I have ever been in

that charges $6 for an extra plate to split a dinner.

When we said we didn't need the extra plate, we were told to

leave and refused service. Pretty sad.

It is a family owned business and they must have

all the business they can handle and don't need the "Winter Texans"

Definitely not "Winter Texan" Friendly.

Kite flying on South Padre Island-a fun activity

Helen at the age of 90 shown below proves that kite flying at

any age is fun. This is a one of a kind absolutely
