Welcome to the Island brewery.

Owner and Head Brewer Markkus Haggenmiller (below)

gave us a tour and explained in detail how

they make beer on the island. He has been doing this

for 15 years!

We began brewing in 1995 with a focus and attention to detail that you will continue to see today. All of our beers are virtually handmade by our third generation brewmaster.Brewed in our traditional steam fired brewhouse in small batch quantity and made with only the finest barley malt, fresh hops, purest yeast, purified water and the simple natural methods which reflect the exceptional respect we have for the ancient art of brewing -- Prosit.

Mr. Haggenmiller moved here from Minnesota 15 years ago to start this business.
His dad worked for the Hamm's Brewing Company for many years
so brewing beer remains in the family.
